The Key to Thriving Through Change
Change is a constant in any business, and how we respond to it makes all the difference. As a coach and facilitator, I support colleagues in developing the mindset, skills, and confidence to navigate challenges with resilience and adaptability.
Recently, I had the opportunity to run a Growth Mindset Workshop for Area Sales Managers (ASMs), focusing on how shifting perspectives can unlock potential, foster innovation, and drive success.
Mindset Matters
It’s easy to talk about growth mindset, but living by it—especially in stressful situations—can be a challenge. We all have moments of fixed thinking, where fear or doubt can hold us back. The key is recognising when we’re stuck and choosing to shift towards possibility and action.
To make this shift easier, I created the ECHO model—a simple, memorable framework to help guide conversations in a way that encourages a growth mindset.
🔹 Empathy – Listen deeply to understand someone’s perspective.
🔹 Curiosity – Ask thoughtful questions to explore new possibilities.
🔹 Help – Offer support and share experiences to inspire action.
🔹 Outcome – Focus on what truly matters and how to move forward.
This simple acronym can help individuals and teams navigate uncertainty, build resilience, and foster more constructive conversations. It’s a tool that can be especially helpful in times of change.
LET’S SHARE IDEAS
Mindset is contagious—it shapes the way we show up, lead, and support those around us. The more we practise shifting our perspective, the more we help others do the same.
